The team officially announced the call-up of eight additional young players to serve as national team
America's Cup
Period chaperone. Costa Rica is in Group D in the Copa America and will face Brazil, Colombia and Paraguay.
Costa Rica officials confirmed that the eight young players will be included in the national team's CONCACAF delegation, forming a chaperone group that will train with the 26 players on the CONCACAF roster. This decision is intended to provide valuable learning opportunities for the young players, while improving the quality of training for the national team as a whole.

The addition of these young players not only adds vigor to the national team's training, but also lays the foundation for their future development.
