In a recent interview with Sky Sports, he talked about his views on two soccer superstars, Cristiano Ronaldo (Crow) and Leo Messi. He revealed that he will be framing Crowe's jersey in the future, but at the same time admitted that he is a Messi fan.
Junior Kluivert, who was given Cairo's jersey during his time with Roma, said, "I have Cairo's jersey, at the moment I haven't framed it, but I think in the future I'll definitely frame it. I'll carve out a nice looking room, for sure, but I exchanged jerseys with Crow, so it's certainly not forgotten."
When talking about Messi, Kluivert Jr. showed so much respect and admiration that he even forgot for a moment that he had played against the Argentine superstar. He recalled, "I'm sorry, I just forgot, but I did play against Messi (against Paris in Nice), but I didn't get his jersey! I tried, but I'm not the type to be too greedy, I'm more of a go-with-the-flow kind of guy, if I can't get it, forget it."
Kluivert Jr. also shared his feelings about playing against Messi: "It was incredible, I stole the ball from his feet that game and I was like: what happened? So Messi is human! That was fantastic."
