The Beijing Workers' Stadium, whose foundation was laid in 1959, has gone through more than 60 years of wind and rain and launched a brand new renovation and remodeling project in 2020. Sino Industrial Sports Company, a subsidiary of Sino Group, has taken up the important responsibility of investment, construction and operation. This newborn industrial sports landmark will blossom magnificently in a few months' time, reintegrating into the world stage and public life. Coinciding with the 30th birthday of Beijing Guoan Football Club in December this year, Workers' Stadium will also usher in its glorious home history of more than 20 years. Under the unified management of Sino Group, the stadium and the team will draw on the successful experience of international first-class sports organizations to bring the public a more diversified cultural experience and cutting-edge viewing experience.
The renovation project is now in the decisive stage and is expected to officially open to the public on December 9th. The new Workers' Stadium will be equipped with cutting-edge technology to create an immersive viewing experience for spectators and continue to serve as the home of Guoan FC. The seating layout and grandstand design have been optimized, increasing the total number of seats to 68,000, all in line with FIFA standards. Accessibility has also been upgraded to ensure a barrier-free viewing experience for all spectators. The lighting system was borrowed from the design of Stamford Bridge, the home of English Premier League's Chelsea, and new large screens were added to the north and south sides, one of which is nearly 300 square meters in size.

The latest news from the official website of the State General Administration of Sports is that China will actively bid to host the 2031 Women's World Cup, and if it is successful, the New Workers' Stadium is expected to be the venue for the event. However, it sadly missed out on the 2023 Men's Asian Cup. While welcoming the return of Guoan, the New Industrial Stadium will be in a position to host the tournament early next year. The North Stand (Stand 24) will be built into a "Super Stand" that can accommodate 15,000 "hardcore" Guoan fans, becoming a new landmark of sports culture.
The operation mode of the stadium is gradually on par with that of the sports industry in Europe and the United States, maximizing the brand value of both parties through space optimization and integration of commercial interests. Sino Group is also following the lead of the New York Times in the field of digital technology and meta-universe, and its "Gongti Meta-universe" project has attracted many industry giants and scientific research institutions to join.
With the return of Beijing Guoan, this 63-year-old stadium will welcome the 30-year-old Guoan, which is not only a witness of an era, but also a new chapter in the integration of sports and culture, which is worthy of the common expectation of all people who love soccer!
