Showing off his skills, he wore the No. 10 robe, a symbol of glory. Surprisingly, the Japanese media had revealed an essay from Keisuke Honda's childhood.

The essay is titled Future Matters, in which Keisuke Honda describes his dream as follows

of the tournament, wearing the No. 10 jersey, chasing World Cup glory and aspiring to be No. 1 in the world. I aspire to lead the Japanese men's soccer team to the World Cup final to beat Brazil and win the title."

"When I succeed, I will repay my grandparents with the wealth I have gained."

Now 36 years old, Keisuke Honda is a free agent. In his career at Milan, he delivered a bright 92 games, 11 goals and 15 assists.

Keisuke Honda has been equally impressive with the Japanese national team, making 98 appearances and contributing 37 goals and 23 assists. In his three World Cup trips, he has led Japan to a best-of-16 record and has left a trail of four goals and three assists in 10 World Cup games.
