Recently, the AFC officially announced the distribution of places in the Asian zone for the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, totaling 8.5 places. Vietnam has become one of the main competitors of the national soccer team. At present, the U19 National Youth and U23 National Youth are constantly sending fresh blood to the Vietnamese men's football team, while the gap between the national football team in this regard is becoming more and more obvious.
