August 8, Guangdong Province U15 boys football final allegedly "kicking fake" incident quickly ran on the network hot search, caused widespread concern. The CFA responded quickly and initiated an investigation. Chen Yong, a senior soccer reporter, discussed the incident in depth on his social media accounts and gave his views on possible penalties.
Chen Yong pointed out that the CFA's role is actually more limited in the current Provincial Games soccer tournament. Although the CFA does not have the power to directly cancel the result of the match or the champion or runner-up, according to the relevant regulations, they can determine whether there is negative match behavior. Once confirmed, the CFA has the right to impose penalties such as a ban on the CFA registered practitioners involved. Subsequently, the organizing committee can make subsequent penalties such as cancellation of results or deprivation of the championship accordingly.
If the evidence is conclusive, such behavior may violate the law; even if there is no conclusive evidence, the Football Association may still impose penalties in accordance with the relevant provisions.
