(Thomas Tuchel)'s side were unable to finish the game, completing a memorable performance for Frankfurt (Germany), who became the first team to score five goals against Bayern in the first 60 minutes of a league match since Frankfurt (Germany) in 1975.
Tuchel (name) said after the game that his team was punished by a Frankfurt (Germany) side that was ruthless in front of goal. "We didn't defend consistently and were punished mercilessly today," Tuchel (name) told German broadcaster ARD.
"That's why this result is hard to digest on the scoreboard. We deserved to lose. Not 5-1, but we deserved to lose. Here's the bottom line. Leaders Leverkusen retain their three-point cushion and travel to third-placed Stuttgart on Sunday, when six of the Bundesliga's top seven will face each other.

Frustrated Dortmund boss Edin Terzić cited Hummels' red card as a turning point in the game: 'It's not easy against RB Leipzig, especially when you're outnumbered'. You saw we had a very good start, very dominant ...... After the red card, it was a completely different game.
Terzić admits Dortmund are going through a tough time after winning just one of their last six Bundesliga games and slipping off the pace in the top four.
"This is a very difficult phase we are going through at the moment. It's not easy to answer a similar question on the microphone every three days.
Union Berlin's first match since Aug. 26 secured new coach Nenad Bjelica's winning start in the Bundesliga with a 3-1 victory over Borussia Mönchengladbach. The Croatian skipper ran down the touchline and celebrated with his players as his team climbed to 15th place.
Elsewhere, Werder Bremen ended a four-game winless slump with a 2-0 win over Augsburg, with first-half goals from Niklas Stark and Marvin Dacic midway through the second half securing victory. Heidenheim beat Darmstadt 3-2, two newly promoted strugglers. Jan Scheppner scored twice for Heidenheim, which left Darmstadt winless in seven Bundesliga matches.
