In the third round of the 8th Women's East Asian Cup, South Korea and Chinese Taipei faced off at the Kashima Soccer Stadium in Japan at 3:00 p.m. on July 26th. In the 35th minute, Ji Xiaoran cleverly passed the ball back from the left side of the penalty area, and Zhang Sergei made a breakthrough in the left ribbed area and crossed the ball to Lee Min-e, who grabbed the ball in front of Zhang Jiran inside the penalty area and scored, giving South Korea a 1-0 lead over Chinese Taipei with their first shot on goal in the first half of the match!

Korea took a 2-0 lead in the 38th minute when Choi Hyo Joo sent a direct shot from the right side of the midfield, Choi Lee stepped over a man on the right side of the field and crossed the ball to Kang Chae Rim, who got down and stabbed the ball before Chan Young Hye!

In the 40th minute, Cui Li passed the ball back to Ji Xiaoran from the left side of the field, who sent the ball over the top of the field to Lee Min-e, who scored easily from the left side of the field. Lee scored twice in five minutes, and Korea converted their first three shots on goal to take a 3-0 lead over Chinese Taipei!

In the second half, Zhang Chang's low shot from the left side of the arc was parried by Cheng Si Yu in the 57th minute.

In the 62nd minute, Zhang Sergei pulled Chen Yanping from behind in midfield and received a yellow card.

In the 77th minute, Lee Min-eul made a wide shift on the left side of the field, and Choo Hyo-joo stopped the ball at the bottom line on the right side of the box and shot from a small angle, but the ball hit the outside of the right post and bounced out of the bottom line.

In the first minute of extra time, Kang Chae-rim threw the ball out of bounds on the right side of the field, Zhang Weibin back-passed from the right bottom line, Kang Chae-rim crossed the ball to the back point near the right sideline, Ching Si-woo made a mistake in the attack, and Ko Min-kyung's header from the left corner of the penalty box was headed into the far corner, giving South Korea a 4-0 lead!

In the end, Korea thrashed Chinese Taipei by a score of 4-0.
