The 2022 AFC Women's Asian Championship Trial is set to kick off from August 15-28 in the heat of the summer.
The tournament will be played in two historic divisions, East and West. Notably, the West Asia zone will be played in faraway Uzbekistan from August 20-26, while the exact venue and dates of the East Asia competition are yet to be officially revealed. Ultimately, the champions of the East and West Asia zones will face off on October 22 on the day of the AFC Cup final.
The tournament has attracted seven top women's soccer clubs from India, Iran, Jordan, Uzbekistan, Taipei, Myanmar and Thailand, etc. What kind of surprises will they bring to us in their fierce competition? Let's wait and see.
