The Korean website GOAL.COM has announced that the much-anticipated Chinese Super League will finally kick off at the beginning of next month after many twists and turns. However, the news has not stirred up the enthusiasm of our fans, who are neither excited nor looking forward to the start of the new season.

The Chinese Super League will be launched on June 3, and the entire season will be divided into 34 rounds played in four stages. The CFA has divided the 18 participating teams into three divisions, each containing six teams. The divisions are set to include Meizhou, Dalian and Haikou, and three teams will be replaced in each division after each stage.

However, our fans have a lukewarm response to this arrangement. They are well aware that the Chinese Super League has fallen into the doldrums in recent years and can no longer achieve glory with huge investments. One fan bluntly said, "I have lost interest in the Chinese Super League and will not pay attention to it anymore." Another fan commented in a sarcastic tone, "The Chinese Super League is now the 60th largest international league." An even more pessimistic fan said, "It's uninteresting, the audience is sparse, and I'd rather it end sooner."

The opening match of the new season will be held in Haikou, with last season's champion Shandong Taishan facing Chongqing Liangjiang Athletic. It's worth noting that Shandong Taishan has current South Korean midfielder Sun Junho in their squad, while Chongqing's head coach Zhang Wailong is also South Korean.
