Tang Miao, 31, born on October 16, 1990 in Dalian, Liaoning Province, is a skilled right back. Since joining Guangzhou City in 2011, he has captained the team for 11 years and played 272 matches for the team, including five in the Chinese League, 240 in the Chinese Super League, seven in the AFC Champions League and 20 in the AFC Cup, contributing six goals and 49 assists, which is the highest number of several figures in the team's history.
At the national team level, Tang Miao was first selected for the national team in May 2012 and featured in a World Cup qualifier in June of the same year, helping China to a 3:0 win over Vietnam. Since then, he has been selected for the national team on several occasions and played as a starter in the 2021 World Cup qualifiers, delivering a key assist in the 2:0 win over the Philippines for the national team.
