Of interest is the fact that the CFA and the CFL Preparatory Group have put forward new requirements for teams participating in the new season of the China B League, with clubs required to pay a deposit of 600,000 yuan before the tournament. This amount is significantly lower than the 1.5 million yuan in previous seasons, more than half. If clubs can't even pay such a small deposit on time, it will be difficult to win the trust of the organizers.

There are practical considerations behind the drastic reduction in the deposit for the China League Two. Factors such as the epidemic and the uncertainty of the investment environment have made it difficult for many S2 clubs to operate in past seasons. The frequent withdrawal of clubs in the middle of the season has seriously affected the order of the league, the fairness of the game and the operating environment.

In the view of the Football Association, the preparatory group and the professional league parties, the Chinese Super League to create a high-quality tournament, the key is to consolidate the infrastructure of the middle and lower levels of the league. The entry threshold cannot be lowered simply to meet the scale of the league at all levels. Therefore, the organizers prefer to strictly review the quality of the participating teams before the start of the league, rather than letting the lower-level teams barely maintain.

At present, of the 22 clubs that have qualified for the new season of the Second Division League, five are from last season's Chinese Champions League, accounting for nearly one-third of the participating teams. If any of these 22 clubs are unable to submit proof of compliance, it will be difficult for the organizers to further relax the "threshold" and allow lower-ranked teams from the Chinese Champions League to enter the Second Division League on a replacement basis.

It is worth noting that the 2003 age group U19 National Youth Football Team has confirmed that it will participate in this season's China B League, regardless of the size of the league. Despite the controversy over the participation of national teams in professional leagues, the impact of the epidemic has kept national men's soccer teams out of international competitions for several years, with the exception of the national team's participation in the World Qualifiers and the U23 national football team's participation in the Dubai Cup. For the past two years, the 2001-age national youth team, the Olympic-age team from Paris, has participated in two consecutive seasons of the Chinese B League. Although they do not participate in elevation matches, the number and quality of matches are of significant training value to the team. Their participation has not negatively impacted the competitive quality of the league, as evidenced by their ranking in the Central B League.

For this reason, after communicating with the preparatory team and the clubs, the FA decided to organize the U19 National Youth Football Team of the 2003 age group to participate in the new season of the China B League, in order to accumulate practical experience for the team to participate in the U20 Asian Cup Qualifier in the second half of the year. As in previous seasons, the national youth team will not participate in the elevation competition.

As for the 2001 age group National Youth Football Team, it has been confirmed that they will not be able to participate in the new season of the Central League. How they can guarantee the quality of their preparation before the Olympic qualifiers is still the focus of attention.

In addition, the new season of the Second Division League will adopt a full-season tournament system. The FA and the preparatory team made this arrangement based on the actual situation. On the one hand, due to the impact of the epidemic, all three professional leagues had to adopt the match system; on the other hand, after extensive research, the organizers found that the current financial capacity of the Chinese League B clubs is difficult to meet the financial needs of the home and away matches.
