In the late afternoon, the blazing sun and rain showers in Haikou intertwined as the reserve and first team players split their time between two training scenarios. Outdoors, the temperature was high, but the sudden onset of showers allowed the players to experience a stormy challenge. Indoors, the players honed their passing and tackling skills.
The drills officially began with jogging, stretching and hip training in the rain to warm up the players. They then completed specialized training in agility, coordination and speed under the guidance of the coaches.
Through a series of pass-and-grab practical drills, the players' observation, reaction speed and ball-control ability were significantly improved.
The divisional matchups saw the players turn their training into an advantage in the actual game.
In indoor drills, reserve players focus on pass rush skills.
