On December 21st, the Shanghai Football Association (SFA) officially announced the success of 21-year-old star Yang Shuhui in joining the French women's soccer team of Charente de Suavao.
The official announcement revealed that Shanghai Shengli Football Club and France Charente Suavao Football Club reached a transfer agreement for Yang Shuhui after friendly negotiations, and she will officially join the Ligue 1 women's football camp.
Born on October 28, 2000, the wing back has been playing soccer since she stepped onto the green pitch of Shanghai Chuansha Middle School North at the age of 11. At 12, she was selected to further her studies at the Shanghai Sports School, and in 2015 and 2017, she represented Shanghai's women's soccer team to win the Youth Games U16 Division and the National Games U18 Division.
In 2017, Yang Shuhui stepped into the first team of Shanghai Shengli Football Club, and since 2018, she has been playing with the team in the Women's Super League and won the runner-up of the league and the FA Cup in 2019, the third place of the league in 2020, and the runner-up of the All-China National Games Adults and Championships, as well as the runner-up of the league in 2021.
