Archie Gray just turned 18 in March, but his performances for Leeds United in the Championship this season have already caught the attention of several clubs. Spurs tried to lure Gray back when he was 17, but Gray opted to sign his first professional contract with Leeds United. Now, Tottenham have shown renewed interest in the young midfielder and are looking forward to including him in their squad.
As well as Gray, Tottenham remain interested in Chelsea midfielder Gallagher. Gallagher's performances have also attracted the attention of Aston Villa, who are reportedly in the lead in initial talks with Chelsea over Gallagher's transfer ahead of the Europa League. However, Spurs have not given up on Gallagher and continue to monitor his movements.
Tottenham's pursuit of Gray and Gallagher highlights their desire to make additions in the midfield position. Other reinforcement plans will depend on the team's departures. If Emerson and Spencer leave, replacements will be needed at wing-back. Richarlison may be sold, but a suitable replacement will need to be found for his position. However, there aren't too many quality wingers available in the market at the moment.
