tournament, the CFL schedule will likely be fine-tuned.
According to the current schedule, the Chinese team will play away against a 1st-tier team in the first round of the 18-team tournament and host a 3rd-tier team in the second round. The two matches are scheduled for Sept. 5 and Sept. 10, respectively. The 24th round of the Chinese Super League was originally scheduled to be played on August 25, which means that the
national soccer team
There are only about 10 days to prepare for the 18-team tournament.
In order to give the national team more time to prepare for the match, the CFA and the national team are considering whether to move the 24th round of the Chinese Super League (CSL) to July 14-25 during the league break. If this option is feasible, then the national football team will be able to focus on their preparations earlier after the 23rd round of the Chinese Super League is played on August 17th.
Although long-term training has always been controversial in the industry, but for the current limited technical ability of the Chinese team, early preparation may be a more effective choice. By "flying first" or "temporarily sharpening the gun", the national team can improve the overall competitive state in a short period of time, and strive to achieve good results in the 18-team tournament.
