Plans for this summer's transfer window include bringing in center backs and wingers, while denying that Van Dijk has been in contact with Riyadh Victory.

There have been reports that Riyadh Victory have been in contact with Van Dijk's representatives over a potential transfer, but senior Liverpool sources, speaking on condition of anonymity, have said that Riyadh Victory have not been contacted about any deal. Van Dijk has one year left on his contract and he remains a key figure for manager Sloter. However, van Dijk will become a free agent next summer if a new contract is not agreed.

Liverpool are actively looking to strengthen their center back position and one of their targets is 18 year old Lille center back Jolo. Currently, Liverpool have four center back options, but Van Dijk's contract is expiring, Konate's form is slipping, Kuanzon is still young, and Joe Gomez is being used more as a wing back. While Liverpool are not in dire need of a new starting center back, they are looking to bolster the position. If they fail to sign Jolo, they could miss out on a player who can establish himself in the first team for the next 10 years.

Liverpool are also on the lookout for a winger amid uncertainty over the long-term futures of Salah and Diaz. Salah has one year left on his contract while Dias has been linked with Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain. The prioritization of reinforcements will also depend on manager Sloter's assessment of the squad and he may decide to rearrange the number six position.

In terms of selling players, Liverpool know that Keleher wants to be the starting goalkeeper but will only consider offers of £25 million and above. While there are rumors that Barcelona are interested in Diaz, Liverpool plan to play him in pre-season and hope to make a substantial profit. Dias has three years left on his contract and Liverpool are hoping to make a sizable profit if they decide to sell. In addition, Liverpool have bid £20 million for Van den Berg and although Mainz had hoped to sign the 22-year-old permanently, the two sides are far apart on valuation.
