In this regard, the Vietnam Football Association (VFA) revealed that the change of the match time was proposed by the Chinese Football Association (CFA) to optimize the preparation strategy and avoid the adverse impact of the hot weather on the players. The final decision was made to postpone the match from 19:00 to 21:00 local time on October 7, or 1:00 a.m. on October 8, Beijing time.
It is worth mentioning that the timing of this match is exactly the same as the final match between China and Syria in the Top 40. Recently, China's national soccer team also played a closed warm-up match with Syria, which ended in a 1-1 draw, with Zhang Yuning being credited with the goal.
