According to a report from Torino Sport, Juventus and Riyadh Victory are exploring goalkeeper
Szczesny (name)
The details of the deal are not being rushed by either side, although the deal has not yet been finalized. With the departure of Ospina, Riyadh Victory are ready to sign Juve goalkeeper Szczesny.
Szczesny currently has one year left on his contract with Juve and has been Juve's starting goalkeeper since Buffon joined Paris Saint-Germain in 2018. However, manager Juan Motta's desire to bring in a goalkeeper with better footwork has accelerated Juve's renewal. In addition, Szczesny's annual salary of €6.5 million, the highest paid player in the team, has prompted Juve to consider selling him.
Juve are exploring the details of the deal with Riyadh Victory and it is expected that Szczesny will be offered a two-year €40 million salary while Juve will receive a transfer fee of between €4 million and €5 million. The two sides are in no hurry considering the Saudi summer transfer window doesn't start until mid-July.
Juve are set to bring in last season's best Serie A goalkeeper, Di Gregorio, following the departure of Szczesny. Di Gregorio is expected to join Juve for a loan fee of €4 million and the club will be forced to buy him out for €16 million after February 2025 when Juve earn their first Serie A point.
Di Gregorio will sign with Juve until 2029 at a salary of around €2 million per year, and he will be Juve's starting goalkeeper next season. Meanwhile, current goalkeeper Perin will extend his contract with Juve to continue helping Di Gregorio grow in the team. Despite Juve receiving many offers for Perin, the club has no intention of releasing him and plans to extend his contract until 2026 with a one-year extension option attached.
