In an update on August 31st, China League One powerhouse Guizhou revealed the injury status of the team's goalkeeper Zhang Sipeng. Unfortunately, Zhang Sipeng was injured in a match against Jiangxi Beidamen, and after in-depth diagnosis by a team of specialized medical professionals and experts, he was diagnosed with a serious tear of the anterior cruciate ligament in his right leg. After an emergency surgery, Zhang Sipeng is currently recuperating in Beijing and is expected to take up to six months to recover.

The official announcement of Guizhou Football Club shows that Zhang Sipeng's injury is a cause for concern, but the club is confident in his recovery due to timely treatment and smooth surgery. The goalkeeper started his career with Beijing Guoan before moving to Jiangsu Suntian and Guizhou Hengfeng, where he stood out as the starting goalkeeper for Guizhou.
