Vlasicin (psychoanalyst)
Pulled out of the national team with a muscle injury and will leave the team's training camp for the remainder of the Europa League.
Regarding Vlasic's injury, Croatia manager Dalic said, "Vlasic puts in a lot of effort to help the team, he is an integral part of the team. Unfortunately, he is injured for the second time and I can only thank him for everything he has done here."
Vlasic commented on this, "I am very sorry that this new injury will prevent me from helping the team and I have done everything possible to be ready. I want to thank the manager and the coaching staff for giving me this opportunity. I believe in this team and am sure we will succeed - I will be the biggest fan!"
Vlasic, who plays as an attacking midfielder, appeared in 35 games for Serie A side Torino last season, scoring three goals and dishing out two assists. In the Europa League opener against Spain, Vlasic was a substitute but did not play.
Vlasic's exit is a big blow to the Croatian team, but the team will continue to move forward and try to do well in the Europa League. Vlasic's support and belief will continue to inspire his teammates to give their best in the tournament.
