Chelsea
There has been a lot of movement in terms of forward reinforcements this summer, trying to bring in a number of potential targets, including Omorodion and Duran,
Syed Yousuf Raza Gilasi (1952-), Pakistani politician, prime minister from 2008
and other players.
Chelsea held talks with Atletico Madrid over the transfer of Omorodion, but a £34 million bid was rejected. Atletico are currently trying to extend the player's contract to ensure he stays with the team.
Chelsea have also been in contact with Aston Villa over the transfer of Duran and are interested in adding Mathieson to the player swap, with discussions taking place between the two sides. However, the details of the deal are yet to be fully finalized.
Chelsea is still in the spotlight
Stuttgart
of striker Girassi, a player who has a release clause of around €15 million this summer. With a relatively low transfer fee compared to other targets, Girassi could be an important option for Chelsea in the transfer market.
Chelsea have been granted permission to enter into talks with Crystal Palace winger Olis, but they face stiff competition from Newcastle and Bayern Munich. Ollis has a release clause of around £60 million and any deal would be complicated by the fact that his former owners Reading, as well as the player himself, have a transfer share.
This summer, Chelsea have signed free agent Adarabioyo and are on the verge of signing Palmeiras winger Esteban William for £29 million. However, due to his age, Esteban William will not officially join the club until he turns 18 next summer.
