.. The two clubs are close to reaching an agreement that will give Esposito the opportunity to play for Empoli in Serie A next season.
Born in 2002, Esposito is an Italian striker. Last season, he was loaned by Inter Milan to Sampdoria in Serie B, where he made 23 appearances, scoring six goals and dishing out six assists. Despite his outstanding performance, Sampdoria failed to exercise their 7 million euro buyout rights on Esposito as they failed to get promoted.
In recent days, Empoli has been actively contacting Inter Milan to bring in the young striker. Di Marzio revealed that the negotiations between the two clubs have entered the final stage and Esposito is about to officially join Empoli.
If the deal goes through, Esposito will have a chance to showcase his talents in Serie A. His arrival will undoubtedly bolster Empoli's offense, and fans will expect him to continue to make progress in his new surroundings.
