Albania faced Italy in the first round of Group B of the UEFA Europa League group stage on June 15, 2024, with the match ending in a 2-1 win for Italy. During the match, the behavior of Albanian fans and associated persons triggered several charges.The CEDB imposed the following penalties on the Albanian Football Federation:

Dissemination of provocative messages contrary to sportsmanship

: Violation of Article 16(2)(e) DR of the UEFA Disciplinary Regulations, punishable by a fine of 10,000 euros.
