After Spain's successful Europa League group stage win over Italy, team captain Morata was interviewed by national TV station La 1. Morata not only shared his thoughts on the game, but also looked ahead to the upcoming tournament.

Morata began by expressing his gratitude to the fans: "I would like to thank once again those who have been supporting us and sincerely hope that they will continue to accompany us. Although I've mentioned it many times, we really, really feel their support." He went on to mention that despite the sometimes unpredictable results of the matches, he spoke highly of the Italian team's performance, believing that they have top goalkeepers and players who play in world-class teams.

Speaking about the win, Morata said, "This win gives us three valuable points and puts us through to the next round. We created many clear scoring chances during the game, which made us very happy. Because we proved with our actions that we are a strong team and have the ability to crush any opponent. It is quite difficult for opponents to play good soccer in front of us."

Asked which team has been the best so far in the tournament, Morata showed the ambition of the Spanish team: "We've been following all the matches, but we want to be the protagonists more than anything else. We want to build confidence and believe that we can compete with any opponent. For now, our focus is to concentrate on preparing for the match against Albania."
