In the second round of the UEFA Europa League group stage last night, Serbia shook hands with Slovenia with a 1-1 draw after a tenacious equalizer in the final moments of the match. After the match, Serbia's star player Mitrovic was interviewed by Eurocup officials, sharing his thoughts on the up-and-down match.

Mitrovic began by talking about the crucial goal: "It was an important goal and an important point for us. We equalized in the last seconds of the game, but this result is the result of our team effort and we deserved this point."

Reflecting on the whole game, he analyzed, "The Slovenian team did play better than us in the first half, but in the second half we gradually found our form, took the initiative on the field and created many chances to break through. I personally was a bit unlucky not to help the team score earlier, but our team never gave up and persevered until the end."

Mitrovic also emphasized the importance of this point for Serbia: "This point is very valuable for us, it gives us hope and reinforces our belief that we must rely on our own strengths to win and ultimately control our own destiny."

Looking ahead, he is full of anticipation, "Next, we will work hard to regain our strength and get fully prepared for the match against Denmark. We hope to show our best form in the match in five days' time and bring a great game to our fans!"
