Extended his contract for 3 years and loaned him out for a season in Bundesliga.
Hennig, 17, comes from the Bayern youth setup as a left back and won the U17 World Cup with the German U17 team as a starter. Bayern extended his contract until 2027 and decided to loan him out to Bundesliga club Unterhaching for one season.
Sauer, Head of Youth Training, said: "Hennig is a true example of local Bavarian youth training. He has been wearing the Bayern jersey since the U9 ladder and has continued to improve over the last ten years. We are confident in his footballing potential and believe that the loan out to Unterhaching will be very important for his development. We will continue to fully support him in the future."
