On June 21, Beijing time, England drew 1-1 with Denmark in a Euro group stage match. England's striker Kane was interviewed after the match, he talked about the team's performance and what needs to be improved.

Kane began by admitting that England were not at their best during the game, but they still found a way to get a draw. He believes that the mark of a good team is to find a way to win when they are not at their best. Kane said that there is still a lot of room for England to improve and that they will go back and study the match footage to find out what they can do to improve.

Speaking about the team's specific performance, Kane noted that England struggled with and without the ball. He mentioned that the team didn't play well in either game and didn't have good enough ball control. According to Kane, it is up to the team to go back and review and find out what went wrong.

When asked if he was told to pull back in defense after scoring a goal, Kane said that this is something England must improve on. He explained that when the opposition pulled back a few players, England were not quite sure how to apply pressure and who should come forward. Kane also mentioned that in the second half, England tried to change their tactics by having him and another player move in front of Denmark's two midfielders in an attempt to get forward, but it was ineffective.

Nonetheless, Kane spoke highly of the Danish team's performance. According to him, Denmark is a good team and reached the semi-finals of the last Euro.
