The first half started off quickly with both teams going on the offensive. In the third minute, Cherny took the ball on the left side of the box and attempted a shot that was parried by the goalkeeper. Mika Utadze followed up with a shot from inside the box, but the ball was again deflected by the goalkeeper. In the 8th minute, Cherny's shot from outside the box was blocked and then the goalkeeper confiscated the ball. In the 13th minute, Hickey cut inside the left side of the field and attempted a long-distance shot, which was blocked and went out of bounds. In the 18th minute, Cao Farr was yellow-carded for a kicking foul. In the 21st minute, Cao Fal crossed the ball from the right side of the field, and the goalkeeper came out to confiscate the ball.
In the 22nd minute, the Czech Republic formed an attack after the ball was sent from the sideline in front of the field, and Hrozek pushed a shot inside the penalty area, but the goal was invalidated after VAR confirmed that his handball was first. In the 26th minute, Provoad shot at the center of the field with his teammates after a series of cooperation. In stoppage time, Lobzanidze missed a great chance to kill the game.
