Inter Milan have hit a few snags in their plans to bring in a new goalkeeper, according to transfer expert Di Marzio. Although Inter had previously been in talks with Genoa over the transfer of Spanish goalkeeper Josep Martinez, the deal was delayed. In order to avoid any surprises, Inter have contacted two other candidates for goalkeeper reinforcements again:

Bento, 25, currently plays for Atletico Parana and is the goalkeeper for the Brazilian national team, which is competing in the Copa America. Joakimson, 22, on the other hand, plays for Villarreal, holds dual Swedish and Danish citizenship, and just this month extended his contract until 2029. By contacting these two alternative goalkeepers, Inter hope to ensure that the team is well on its way to bringing in a suitable new goalkeeper to fill the team's needs ahead of the new season.
