Hosting. The opening game is scheduled for December 21, 2025 and the final is scheduled for January 18, 2026.
Previously, this year's Africa Cup of Nations was originally planned to be held between June and July next year, but due to the conflict with the new Club World Cup schedule and other reasons, the tournament time has been adjusted. The change is aimed at ensuring the smooth running of the tournament and providing a better experience for the participating teams and fans.
