Following the draw between the Netherlands and France, Dutch captain Van Dyke spoke to the media, reviewing the match and looking ahead to the upcoming tournament.

Van Dyke said that while he holds a different view on the disallowed goal by Harvey Simmons, believing it was actually a valid goal, he is realistic about the outcome of the game and accepts the draw. "Against a strong team like France, it is to be expected that the game will be more difficult." He said.

Speaking about his team's performance, van Dijk believes that the Dutch team has shown a very positive fighting spirit. He emphasized that the Dutch team has now accumulated four points and the next goal is to fully prepare for Tuesday's match against Austria.

Reflecting on the proceedings, van Dijk mentioned that the Dutch worked hard to keep their backline compact towards the end of the game and tried to create a threat for France through counter-attacks. "We came close to breaking through on a couple of occasions but unfortunately didn't capitalize on all our chances." He said.

Nonetheless, Van Dyke was pleased with his team's overall performance, especially on the defensive end. "We didn't lose the game and our fate is still in our own hands." He added, "Fabruchem played really well, but I think our entire defensive line played well. A solid defense is the foundation of our good results."
