After the team's 1-3 defeat against Austria, Poland
Star Lewandowski was interviewed and gave a detailed review of his preparations and the course of the match.
On his state of readiness, Levan was adamant: "I am 100% ready. We had an in-depth discussion as a team about when it would make the most sense for me to play, and given my fitness at the start of the game, we decided that it would be best for me to play in the second half. I was in good physical condition and had no problems. I was ready to sprint at any time during the game without any discomfort."
In analyzing Poland
On the team's performance in the game, Levin noted, "Conceding the goal had a huge impact on our rhythm. Prior to conceding the goal, our performance was in stages. The start was poor, but in the following period we clearly improved our performance and created several chances. However, after conceding the goal we struggled to maintain our previous consistency and balance and had to adopt a more adventurous attacking approach, which allowed the Austrian team to capitalize on their chances."
He went on to add, "This loss definitely pains us, but we also see areas of improvement from it. Going forward, we will focus more on how to quickly adjust our tactics and mentality after conceding a goal in order to keep the pace and control of the game."
