An interview with media outlet TVP Sport gave a candid response to the loss of the match and his own form.
On the game, Levein said bluntly, "A loss is a loss, there's nothing more to say. We don't have the points and that hurts. We all know that the game should not have turned out like this."
Speaking on why he didn't get the points, he analyzed, "There were a lot of reasons. Our form going into the game was poor to begin with and the first 20 minutes were awful. Although we improved after that and created chances in the opposition box, conceding the goal disrupted our rhythm. We were forced to adopt an adventurous strategy, which created more chances for Austria."
On his health and match readiness, Levan said, "I'm actually 100 percent ready. If I start, the only question is how long I can play. We decided that playing in the second half was the best option. I don't have any health problems and I don't need to pay special attention to anything."
He described the loss as a "temporary pause" and noted, "We haven't worked with the coach for long, but we've saved the qualifiers together, progressed to the Europa League and played well in the first leg. These two losses did expose some of our shortcomings."
Looking ahead, Levan emphasized, "We have one last game. Everyone is disappointed today, but tomorrow we must focus on preparing for the last game. We'll be watching the result of Holland against France, but we know we're still in the Europa League and we have to fight to the best of our ability."
