Speaking at a pre-match press conference ahead of the second round of the Europa League group stage against Romania, Belgian center back Fes said his team needs to up the tempo in the upcoming matches and take advantage of the chances created with a view to getting a good result.

Firth began by talking about what it's like to work with different partners, stating that there's not much difference for him whether he's working with Deba or Vertonghen. He appreciated Deba's performance against Slovakia and mentioned Vertonghen's vast experience.

Speaking about the trust that head coach Tedesco has placed in him, Fes expressed his gratitude. He recalled his excellent performance against Germany in Cologne and is looking forward to showing great form again in the Europa League.

Finally, Fes recognized the strength of Romania and he was not surprised that Romania was able to beat Ukraine. He emphasized that the teams that are able to advance to the Euros have certain strengths, so Belgium must be well prepared.
