After the first phase of the tournament mission, the
Changchun Yatai (soccer team)
U21 team
has returned to Changchun Yatai Jingyue Base from Rizhao on the evening of June 23rd. During this period, head coach Yan Feng traveled to Dalian for attending the 2023-2024 AFC/CFA Professional Level Coach Training (Phase VIII).
In the first four rounds of the first phase of the tournament, Changchun Yatai U21 team achieved a draw and three losses, and temporarily ranked ninth in the table. Facing the challenges of Chengdu Rongcheng U21s, Cangzhou Lions U21s and Wuhan Sanzhen U21s, the team showed some strength in both offense and defense, but still need to work hard to improve in the next games.
The final stage of this season's CSKA U21 League kicked off on June 13 and will run in five phases until late November. In these five stages, 12 teams will compete in 22 rounds for the final honor.
In the first stage of the final match from June 13th to 22nd, Changchun Yatai U21 team lost 0-2 to Chengdu Rongcheng U21 team, drew 0-0 with Cangzhou Lions U21 team, and lost 0-2 to Wuhan Sanzhen U21 team in the first round of the match. In the second match with Chengdu Rongcheng, Bai Yuhang of Yatai U21 scored a goal, but still lost to Chengdu Rongcheng U21 1-2.
According to the schedule, the second stage of the tournament will be played in Dalian, the third stage will be played in Kunming and Yuxi, the fourth stage will be played in Hohhot and Rizhao, and the fifth stage will be played in Haikou. Changchun Yatai U21s will face Shanghai Shenhua U21s (July 4), Beijing Guoan U21s (July 6), Zhejiang U21s (July 9), Shenzhen U21s (July 12) and Henan U21s (July 16) in the second phase of the tournament.
Changchun Yatai U21 team will make full use of the off-season to adjust and prepare for the next matches after finishing the first phase of the competition, and strive to achieve better results in the next matches. At the same time, head coach Yan Feng will continue to participate in coach training to provide more professional guidance and support for the team.
