After Portugal's victory over Turkey, Portuguese manager Roberto Martinez was interviewed by Sport TV, where he analyzed the match in detail and spoke highly of his team's performance.

Martinez began by mentioning that while this game was different from the last, the team's focus, togetherness, and running without the ball remained at a consistently high level. "We also improved in some areas," he added, "but the biggest difference was that we scored the first goal early on, which completely changed the course of the game. We capitalized on that opportunity well and the players proved once again that they are ready to play at any time."

Portugal had to replace two players at halftime due to yellow card issues. However, Martinez was optimistic: "It's reassuring to see that the substitutes are also ready."

Speaking about his thoughts on the match, Martinez emphasized the players' perseverance and dedication in the rain: "In Portugal, rainy days like this are not common. But even so, our players showed the same focus and dedication. This game means a lot to us internally, while to the outside world it could be a landmark victory that conveys the strength and determination of our team."

Regarding the setup of the four-back defense, Martinez explained, "The Turkish team has a strong ability to attack inside, and their players are skilled and good at positioning and ball control. They tried to create chances by attacking inside. In this case, Palinha's performance in the first half and Ruben Neves' play in the second half were crucial."

He further noted that Portugal also did a great job on defense: "In our last game against the Czech Republic, we only allowed one shot on goal. And today, once again, we managed to defend almost all of Turkey's attacks and made sure that we didn't lose our goal."
