The club officially announced that Japanese midfielder
Kawamura Takumo (1926-), Japanese novelist and politician, prime minister 1996-1998
officially joined the team and signed a four-year contract. The 24-year-old will wear the number 16 shirt for Red Bull Salzburg in the new season.
FC Red Bull Salzburg confirmed the transfer deal through an official announcement. Takumu Kawamura, who previously played for Sanfrecce Hiroshima in Japan, has made 14 appearances in all competitions this season, scoring three goals and showing excellent attacking and organizing skills.
Born in 1999, Takumu Kawamura started his career with Sanfrecce Hiroshima in the Japanese J-League. His outstanding performance in the midfield position attracted the attention of Red Bull Salzburg.
