Musiala has been in great form in this year's Europa League, scoring against Scotland and Hungary. Last season, he played 24 Bundesliga games for Bayern Munich, contributing 10 goals and 6 assists. Nevertheless, the young talent has opted to play for Germany.
Musiala was born in Stuttgart, Germany to a German mother and an Anglo-Nigerian father. He moved to England at the age of seven and then joined the Chelsea youth academy. During his time at Chelsea's youth academy, Musiala represented England from U15 to U21 and excelled. However, he eventually decided to return to his birthplace of Germany to play for Bayern and the German national team.
Speaking about Musiala in the interview, Kane said, "I joked with Musiala about the choice between Germany and England. Apparently he could have chosen to play for England. If I'd been playing for Bayern just a couple of years before, I probably would have put my arm around his shoulder and brought him back to England, Musiala is really very good player."
