In a fierce battle between Morocco and Spain in the round of 16 of the World Cup, the Spanish team, known as the "Raging Bulls", controlled the pace of the game but failed to break the deadlock. Morocco's defense made the game a 0-0 draw in 120 minutes. In the penalty shootout, Spain lost by shooting 12 yards from each other, and Morocco successfully advanced to the last 8.
The Spanish side made a tactical change for the game, with Ewalu Morada being substituted and Ferentolis returning to the starting lineup, partnering with Mago Acincio and Daniel Omo. In the 63rd minute of the second half, Spain made substitutions and adjustments, with Ewalu Morada and Caruso coming off the bench to strengthen the offense. Morocco contracted their defense, determined to defend. In the 81st minute, Ewalu Morada shot from the right side of the road, the ball grazed the goal post and flew out, the Moroccan team was unlucky.
The game went into extra time and the teams remained tied 0-0 in legal time. In the first half of extra time, Spain continued to lay siege to their opponents, with Nicolas Williams looking for chances on the right before Ansoufadi and Baldi came on as substitutes to try and change the game. On a counter-attack by Morocco, Walechadira had a one-touch chance, but it was parried away by Unesimone. In the second half of extra time, Sharabia hit the post with a shot from a narrow position, and in the end, the two sides had nothing to do with each other for 120 minutes and had to settle for a penalty shootout to decide the winner.
