Nottingham Forest's asking price for Murillo is €60 million, but Chelsea made it clear in their initial approach that they would not accept that. As a result, the Blues plan to offer two players as part of the deal, along with a cash payment, in a bid to successfully bring the 21-year-old Brazilian center-back into the squad.
Murillo was excellent for Nottingham Forest last season, making 36 appearances, and his price tag is currently assessed at €35 million on the German transfer market. Chelsea are looking to further strengthen their backline with this deal to prepare for the challenges of the new season.
