According to a report by the Italian journalist Scilla
Napoli, capital of Campania region of Italy
The club are planning to meet with their midfield core, Kvaratskhelya, in the hope of convincing him to extend his contract until 2029.
Currently, Kvaratskhelya's current contract is set to expire in 2027. Napoli, for their part, are willing to offer him a new contract with an annual salary of €5.5 million. New manager Antonio Conte sees Kvaratskhelya as a key player and a non-saleable commodity for the team, trying to ensure that he stays in the team for the long term.
However, Kvaratskhelya faces strong competition from Paris Saint-Germain, who have made a very generous offer of up to €9 million a year and a generous bonus clause.
Last season, Kvaratskhelya was in excellent form for Napoli, making 45 appearances, scoring 11 goals and dishing out 9 assists, showing his all-round ability and importance in the midfield.
Napoli hope that the meeting will convince Kvaratskhelya to stay and continue to contribute to the team and lay the foundations for future achievements.
