Frequent incidents of fans rushing onto the field at matches have caused a high level of alarm among tournament organizers and UEFA. According to reports, as many as seven fans tried to rush into the field to take a selfie with Crow during Portugal's match against Turkey, and although the organizers succeeded in stopping most of these attempts, these incidents still caused widespread concern.

Instead, existing security staff have been asked to be more vigilant, especially in special areas such as the players' tunnel and the bench, in order to prevent fans from taking advantage of the opportunity to storm the pitch. According to Picture Post, younger staff have been placed in key areas where they can respond more quickly to emergencies and stop potential rushes.
Once fans are found to have stormed the field, they will be removed from the stadium by police and asked to provide personal details. During the Euros, these stormers could face serious criminal charges and could be banned from entering the stadium to watch matches.
The heightened security measures for the UEFA Europa League are designed to ensure the smooth running of the tournament while protecting the safety of players and spectators. Fans are strongly warned that any unauthorized entry will face severe legal consequences and stadium bans.
