With a defibrillator at his side, Christian Eriksen's heart burns with the desire to play: "When will I be able to return to the field?" But before he could do that, he had to go through six months of recuperation and healing, which was as hard as swallowing a bowl of hot porridge. As early as the beginning of December, Christian Eriksen was already at the training facility of Odense BK - technically the cradle of his soccer career, which he joined with his best friend Anthony just before his third birthday - and Middelfart Boldklub was the starting point of their soccer story! .

However, joining Odense BK in 2005 marked the beginning of his career journey as a Junior.Eriksen was born on Valentine's Day 1992 in the coastal town of Mizelfart on the Danish island of Fiing. His father, Thomas, was a member of the amateur team, but early injuries forced him to turn to automotive parts sales. However, the passion for soccer is ingrained in Eriksen and his sister Louise's lives like DNA. Family support was crucial, and both Christian and Louise became professional players as a result of their father's passion for soccer. To this day, Thomas is still furious about his son's mistakes on the field, even calling to "correct" him days after a game. Christian Eriksen played for Odense BK in the Danish Youth Championships, and was awarded the Technical Player of the Tournament for his performance, even though his team was eliminated by Brøndby in the last eight. The following year, Odense BK made a comeback and finally won the championship with his goal in the final. The talented youngster's performances for the club's U16, U19 and Danish U17 quickly attracted the attention of numerous foreign clubs, Christian Eriksen had trials with Barcelona, Chelsea, Real Madrid, Manchester United, AC Milan and was finally taken away by a mysterious foreign giant for a huge transfer fee at the age of 16 (2008). This foreign giant was not one of the aforementioned clubs, but was able to take him to a wider world than Denmark. At the time, Chelsea's youth system was not yet well established, while traditional powers such as AC Milan and Barcelona had fierce youth competition, and Eriksen's father turned down all offers to avoid his son's career being jeopardized by leaving the country too early. The villa is just a few minutes walk from Christian Eriksen's home. Every morning, he shows up at the training ground at 8 a.m. on time, fully dressed, and performs aerobic exercises under the guidance of a personal trainer.

After a life-and-death experience, career starter Odense BK didn't hesitate to reach out and assist Christian Eriksen in his recovery. It was snowing in Denmark at the moment and Christian Eriksen had just returned to the court and couldn't wait to get back on the ball. He knows that he can get his game back faster if he is exposed to the ball as early as possible. In fact, Christian Eriksen's return to the court was the second step in his rehabilitation program. Three months after his heart surgery, he began training in his home gym and undergoing rigorous physical tests. It was a long and painful process that is difficult to understand: on the one hand, he was eager to return to systematic professional training as soon as possible, so that his physical functions could be restored to the level of a professional athlete as soon as possible; on the other hand, the strict monitoring of doctors was like an opponent on the field, and if there was any problem with his body, he could lose the right to live an ordinary life. However, Christian Eriksen's condition is gradually improving.
