Legendary coach "The King" Ferguson has returned to the club and has been appointed by new Chief Executive Richard Arnott to join the newly formed think-tank. He will be working with former comrade Bryan Kasumi, former CEO Keel and current Director of Football Meto to advise on the club's all-round development, with the first task expected to be to resolve the issue of the retention of star Cron.

Since his appointment as Chief Executive, Richard Arnott has been committed to leading the Red Devils back to their former glory. The establishment of the think-tank is in view of the brilliant achievements of Ferguson and Kier in the "Red Devils Dynasty" period, hoping to use their experience to help the club revitalization.

During this period, the club won 38 honors, including 13 Premier League titles and two UEFA Champions League titles. Kier served as chief executive from 2003 to 2013, and both were key figures in the 'Red Devils dynasty'. Although they stepped down nine years ago, they still hold the position of

Non-executive directors, symbolically involved in the club's affairs. Now, as members of the think tank, they are expected to exert real influence and even sway the fate of the club.
It is understood that the think-tank will meet regularly to discuss matters including plans for the redevelopment of the Carrington training base. Their first meeting on Tuesday (26) coincided with a brief exchange when they met Cron, who had just returned from a three-week break. Although the organizers claimed it was just a coincidence, it was immediately obvious to anyone with a clear eye that it was for Cron, and it was hoped that Ferguson would persuade him to stay.
In fact, Ferguson had managed to persuade Cron to stay with the team for a year in 2008 before he moved to the

. Last summer, it was Ferguson again who pushed for Cron's return. We'll see if the think tank can fulfill the retention burden this time around.
