In a weekend clash in Perth, Manchester United took on Aston Villa on the 23rd. The Red Devils took a 2-0 lead at halftime with a goal and an own goal from Chaton Sinzou, but the second half saw the Red Devils concede one goal after another, and the match ended in a 2-2 draw. In the 25th minute, United launched a quick counter-attack, Bono Fernandes' precise pass was assisted by Rashford, Rauki Suhr's cross from the left was headed in by Chaton Sinzu to make it 1-0, United took the lead.

After taking the lead, United continued to strengthen their attack. In the 42nd minute, Chaton Sinzu crossed from the right, Rashford grabbed a shot in front of the goal and the ball hit Madikashu into the net, extending United's lead to 2-0. However, a sudden downpour made the pitch slippery during the half-time break.

In the 49th minute, Villa launched a counterattack, Rian Baini broke through to the top of the penalty area and fired a shot into the corner of the net, bringing the score to 1-2. Rian Baini then had a number of other chances on goal, but they were all cleared away by the Manchester United keeper. However, in stoppage time, Colin Chamberlain's header leveled the score at 2-2 and the game ended in a draw.
