English Championship side Hattersfield FC have officially announced that they have brought in the astonishingly tall striker Heron from non-top flight side Solihull Moors. At just 22 years old, the player stands at an astonishing 2 meters 10, making him the tallest non-goalkeeper player in any league in the UK. Hattersfield narrowly missed out on promotion to the Premier League last season and are expected to shine in the top flight in the new season.
Herlien has signed a two-year contract with Hattersfield and the club's transfer director, Miro, said after the signing, "Herlien is a very interesting player who has risen through the ranks at a very fast pace, and we believe there is still a lot of room for him to improve. He is very confident and we have a number of growth plans in place for him." Herlien has scored 16 goals for Solihull Moors since joining the club in October 2020 and has been a part of the team since then.
There is no shortage of tall strikers in the history of the Premier League, the most famous of which is undoubtedly former Liverpool star Koji, who, despite standing at 2 meters 01, is still a long way from Heron's 2 meters 10. Manchester United's new center back, Ricindo Martinez, is only 1.75 meters tall, and if the two have the chance to meet on the field in the future, it will undoubtedly be an interesting matchup.
