According to an announcement from the Russian team, Karpin extended his contract along with his coaching staff with the aim of maintaining a stable coaching system and continuing to develop the team. Karpin, who is currently also in charge of FC Rostov, has a record of 11 wins, 6 draws and 1 loss since taking over the Russian national team in July 2021 (according to Der Spiegel).
This contract extension will ensure that Karpin continues to guide the Russian national team for years to come and pave the way for him to lead the team towards new challenges and achievements.
