Bayern
The Munich club has officially announced that with defender
Stanišić (name)
(Nikola Stanisic) agreed to a contract extension that extends his contract through 2029.
Last season, Stanisic had been loaned by Bayern to play for Leverkusen. This summer, he made a successful return to Bayern and on Thursday evening, the club officially announced the extension of his long term contract.
Stanišić commented on this: "I'm very happy to have signed for Bayern, I've always been a fan of this club. I am very grateful to Leverkusen, who have taught me a lot. There, I had regular opportunities to play, find my rhythm and gain confidence. When I return to Bayern, I want to be a better player. My goal is clear: to give my all to win as many titles as possible for Bayern and I'm very happy about that."
Bayern's director Oliver Kahn also expressed his satisfaction with Stanisic's contract extension: "We are delighted to be able to extend Stanisic's contract. He is a Munich-born player who grew up in the Bayern youth system from a young age. Stanisic has not only performed well at Leverkusen, but has also shown a high level of performance for the Croatian national team. We look forward to experiencing more success with him in the future."
