Sky Sport Italia reports that next season's
Serie A
The league will kick off on August 18, 2024, and the season will run until May 25, 2025, when it ends. There will be four interruptions in the schedule due to national team games: September 2-10, 2024; October 7-15, 2024; November 11-19, 2024; and March 17-25, 2025.
With the reorganization of the UEFA Champions League and UEFA Cup, there will be significant changes in the group stage next season, with the UEFA Champions League group stage increasing from six to eight rounds, with the following schedule of matches: 17-19 September, 1/2 October, 22/23 October, 5/6 November, 26/27 November, 10/11 December 2024, 21/22 January, 29 January 2025.
The UEFA Cup group stage has also been increased to eight rounds, with matches on September 25/26, October 3, October 24, November 7, November 28, December 12, January 23 and January 30, 2024 and 2025 respectively. The Euroleague, on the other hand, remains at six rounds, with matches spread over October 3, October 24, November 7, November 28, December 12, and December 19, 2024.
The Italian Super Cup will be held in Saudi Arabia in early January 2025, with the exact date to be announced later. As to whether the Christmas break will affect the Serie A schedule has not been finalized.
Finally, the 2025 Club World Cup has been set for June 15 to July 13, 2025, with major clubs vying for this world-class honor.
